BROWNIES (SUGAR FREE)
4 sq. (1 oz.) unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
2/3 c. all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. fructose
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13 x 9 inch baking pan. In a double boiler melt chocolate and butter over hot, not boiling water. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
In medium bowl combine flour and salt; set aside. In mixing bowl beat eggs and fructose until thick and light. Beat in chocolate mixture and vanilla. Beat in dry ingredients just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out barely clean. Cool brownies in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. Makes 2 dozen.
